Over 17 years with the National Cancer Institute’s Biopharmaceutical Development Program, in various cross-functional technical and managerial roles, including QA, QC, GMP drug substance and drug product manufacturing, process and analytical development, product characterization and structure elucidation, nonclinical and clinical administration stability studies, and program management for a variety of monoclonal antibody, recombinant protein, peptide, oligonucleotide and small molecule products. Designed the product characterization, biochemistry and virology laboratories for Frederick National Laboratory. Over 13 years as prime contractor to the (then) US Department of Defense, in managerial and scientific roles supporting the largest and highest priority biodefense programs for our nation’s warfighters, most recently as Principal Investigator for a >$250M program for the advanced development and approval of a multivalent anti-botulism prophylactic product.
